The Workshop Loft & Gallery
The Workshop is a long established craft producers' cooperative in picturesque St. Margaret's Hope. It specialises in high quality locally produced knitwear and an impressive range of arts and crafts. Up the spiral staircase there is the Loft Gallery hosting exhibitions from local artists in a variety of media. There are monthly exhibitions from March to December in the small airy gallery. Group of 12+ welcome, parking for car/minibus/small and large coach.

Stromness Museum
The Stromness Museum exists to promote natural science, to preserve local history and to offer an enjoyable educational and informative experience to as large a range of people as possible. We offer an exclusive guided Curator’s Tour designed to be informative, engaging and an in-depth experience, one which will enable visitors to connect with people from our past through the stories behind the artefacts. Tours take place every Wednesday at 10am and every Thursday at 2pm and take approximately 1 hour. Tours are limited to 8 persons, so booking is recommended.

Fernvalley Wildlife Centre
We are a forever home for abandoned, neglected and mistreated exotic animals which have been in the pet trade. We can accommodate small coaches (30 seats maximum), group friendly, with daily talks and feed sessions with our animals. Pier Arts Centre
The Pier Arts Centre in Stromness houses a Collection of British fine art including works by Barbara Hepworth & Ben Nicholson as well as local artists such as Sylvia Wishart & Stanley Cursiter & contemporary artists Sean Scully & Eva Rothschild. The Centre also curates a year round programme of exhibitions & events. The building and facilities are fully accessible.
