The Cheese Lady

The Cheese Lady, is an award-winning specialist cheesemonger, offering a curated selection of the finest farmhouse and artisan cheeses from the British Isles and the Continent. These complex cheeses are crafted with care and precision by cheesemaking masters, matured to perfection in our new maturation room.
We offer private bespoke tasting events/masterclasses, led by our founder and best-selling author, Svetlana. We offer tastings of European, British, Scottish cheeses, paired with our artisan wine range, whisky and/or local liqueurs for groups 6-20.

Lynnfield Hotel & Restaurant

The Lynnfield Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall, next to Highland Park Distillery. The hotel has 20 bedrooms. 10 original antique furnished bedrooms and 10 new modern bedrooms with an ‘Orkney twist’ all having modern ensuites. A dog friendly hotel, complete with Archie, our own spring-a-doodle.
The restaurant looks over Kirkwall to the isles, and serves only local seafood and meats – including North Ronaldsay mutton. Our lounge is the perfect place for relaxing before and after dinner.

Tours can include Highlights of Orkney, archaeology, history, military, craft and food tours with stories and legends of Picts and Vikings and wicked earls’ visits, trips to the outer isles, step on tours, Kirkwall walking tours and beaches of Orkney tours. 20% reduction for solo travellers.

Pierowall Hotel

We are a licenced hotel and restaurant in Westray, one of Orkney’s outer isles. We can seat up to 32 comfortably and have plenty parking opposite hotel. We open from 10am for coffees and offer lunches and evening meals using as much local produce as we can. We have lots of wildlife and local walks and beaches around the island.

Westraak Tours

We are a locally based tour business providing bespoke day tours of the island of Westray. We offer a friendly, personal, informal and immersive introduction to life in one of the outer North Isles. We can accommodate small groups of up to 8 in our minibus and larger groups on request. Tours of Westray can vary in content and timing and can be tailored to suit. Our group rate is flexible.

All four ships have been converted to cruise the western islands of Scotland in comfort and style.
