Scottish Food and Drink Trails offer food and drink tours and experiences. These are local, immersive and unique. We offer full and half-day options. All tours leave from Edinburgh. Our scheduled tours and experiences operate with 2-8 people max and are bookable online. We also offer a bespoke service for the discerning traveller or small groups.

Scottish Food Studio

Embrace Scotland’s unique food culture with award-winning Scottish Food Guide's Wendy Barrie for a Taste Adventure by the shore. Charming venue on Fife’s Coastal Path, panoramic views of Edinburgh skyline. Wendy runs sustainable food experiences in her seaside studio, cooking off grid on a log stove. Slow Food cook & food writer, Wendy personally guides you on an exclusive gastronomic experience, creating wonderful forever food memories. Her enthusiasm & knowledge offer a delicious, entertaining experience with meticulously sourced ingredients.

Hike & Bike Hub, Galashiels

A 3-4hr guided e-bike tour – maximum of 4 adults. (Wednesdays only). The 20-mile tour starts in Galashiels, taking in iconic views around Melrose, Trimontium, Leaderfoot Bridge Scott’s View, the Wallace Statue and Dryburgh. Your clients will enjoy a relaxed, informative tour with the option to spend time at the locations en-route. Galashiels is 1-hour from Edinburgh, easily accessible by road and rail. Hike & Bike Hub is within short walking distance of Galashiels Transport Interchange and public car parking.

Brewhemia

Our story is one steeped in adventure, a love of great food, drinks and a passion for theatrics. A haven for those with a thirst for discovery, tank fresh beer, artisan coffee, fresh Scottish scran, cocktails and super fine wine. With seven bars across five rooms and two floors there is an abundance of bookable options to discover. Bowhouse

Bowhouse is a food & drink hub and rural event venue in the East Neuk of Fife. We are located 20-minutes from St Andrews and 1 hour from Edinburgh.
Your clients can enjoy bespoke estate tours of the organic farmland of Balcaskie, that Bowhouse resides within. A tractor-trailer tour which accommodates up-to 40 people, allows guests to immerse in the beautiful landscape, wildlife and natural environment. They can then return to Bowhouse for a seasonal, BBQ meal (lunch or dinner.) Booking is subject to availability. T&Cs apply.

Bothies & Bannocks

Bothies & Bannocks provides bespoke, guided tours, cookery classes and outdoor experiences in Aberdeenshire, Moray and Cairngorms national park.

We also provide a range of transport services including a specialist adventure sports transport service, carrying your clients and kit to and from their adventures.

Bowbridge Alpacas Scotland

Your guests can choose between a 1hr or 2hr Alpaca Experience in a beautiful location in Fife with wonderful views; 15 minute drive from St Andrews or an hour from Edinburgh Airport. Our 5 Star Alpaca Experiences include our unique obstacle course and trek and are suitable for FIT or bespoke group visits. Guests will enjoy hand-feeding our mums and babies, clicker-training and walking the pet boys and learning about alpacas with a short needle-felting session included.
