A family-owned outdoor experience provider specialising in all level guided walks throughout Scotland with help from our excellent team of highly qualified guides. Operating since 2016, we love to share Scotland with our clients. We welcome individuals or groups and experiences can last from 4 hours to multi-day, from mountains to sea. With our basecamp is in Royal Deeside we are perfectly placed for the Cairngorm National Park, only a 45min drive from Aberdeen International Airport.

Lynnfield Hotel & Restaurant

The Lynnfield Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall, next to Highland Park Distillery. The hotel has 20 bedrooms. 10 original antique furnished bedrooms and 10 new modern bedrooms with an ‘Orkney twist’ all having modern ensuites. A dog friendly hotel, complete with Archie, our own spring-a-doodle.
The restaurant looks over Kirkwall to the isles, and serves only local seafood and meats – including North Ronaldsay mutton. Our lounge is the perfect place for relaxing before and after dinner.

Laphroaig Distillery

Laphroaig Distillery is steeped in over two centuries of history, so you might say we have more than a few tales to tell. Pour yourself a dram and dig into the rich stories surrounding our peaty past.

Wemyss School of Needlework

Founded in 1877, the Wemyss School of Needlework began in order to teach local girls a skill from which to earn a living. Today we supply needlework materials, designs, kits (both ready to go and bespoke), and teach. Visitors can have a private visit our museum to see our collection of textiles, designs and other artefacts, dating from the 17th century to contemporary and hear about our fascinating history or book a private full or half day class.

Rosebank Distillery

Rosebank Distillery is offers a world-class visitor experience. Take a guided tour of the working still house and see the unique whisky production techniques for which Rosebank is famed.

Get ready for tutored tastings in the spectacular tasting rooms which can hold groups up to 42, unique private experiences in our Academy and Lounge, both with a capacity of 18. Coaches welcome.

Backcountry Survival ltd

Your clients can experience a memorable bushcraft or survival experience in the middle of the Scottish Highlands near to Aviemore or north Perthshire. We offer archery, axe and knife throwing as well. We cater for all types of groups including families and kids and take bespoke and privates bookings. We have coach parking available at both our sites.

Angus Alchemy

The Moonshine Village style distillery is just outside Carnoustie, on the A92 (southbound). Featuring bespoke art by Scotland’s favourite street artist, Rebel Bear, Angus Alchemy has 5 stills producing a range of gins and moonshines.
Open daily, the distillery welcomes visitors who’d like to learn how we craft our award-winning drinks. There’s a shop too, which sells the full range, as well as a great selection of other locally produced drinks, Cuban cigars and a great range of souvenirs.

The Viking Falconry themed day would be a chance to allow participants to gain an understanding of how the Norsemen hunted with Birds of Prey on the Orkney Islands.
A unique experience not open to the general public. We demonstrate Viking Falconry techniques, re-enactment, fact, myth and legend.

Alison’s distinctive jewellery reflects her curiosity and passion for everything around her, with the natural world a particular inspiration. Her jewellery workshop and shop is located here in the heart of beautiful Stromness where you can watch their jewellers at work.
