The Year of Stories 2022

Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022 celebrates and promotes a wealth of stories inspired by, written, or created in Scotland. From icons of literature to local tales, the year aims to encourage locals and visitors to experience a diversity of voices, take part in events and explore the places, people and cultures connected to all forms of our stories, past and present.
Our inspirational Year of Stories 2022 itineraries include suggestions to help you create trips that will certainly give your clients the opportunity to explore the diversity of stories that Scotland has inspired.  This will include visiting the real-life locations from your favourite books, films and TV series, explore working farms, meet the maker experiences, listen to local stories and legends and much more.
Our Year of Stories 2022 travel trade videos are available on VisitScotland’s You Tube channel in different languages, including English, ChineseGerman, French, Dutch, Spanish and Italian and can be downloaded from our Digital Media Library.
