Seafari Adventures (Oban)

Seafari Adventures are Oban's 5* Visit Scotland marine wildlife tour operator. Based in Easdale, 16 miles south of Oban we have a fleet of powerful RIBs which are purpose designed and built to ensure you maximum viewing opportunities.

Lip na Cloiche Garden & Nursery

Lip na Cloiche is a densely-planted coastal garden and nursery on a steep slope with stunning views over Loch Tuath, the Isle of Ulva and the Teshnish Isles. The mild climate permits many exotic and unusual varieties to flourish. Interest is added by the incorporation of driftwood and found objects. A wide range of herbaceous perennials and shrubs are on sale, all propagated on site, together with crafts and cards made from beachcombed materials..

Easdale Island Museum

Easdale Island Folk Museum is situated on Easdale Island near Oban in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. The island gained in prominance during the 18th century with the rise of the slate industry after the Earl of Breadalbane set up the Marble and Slate Quarrying Company of Netherlorn to exploit the local Easdale Slate.The folk museum has well designed displays depicting a range of topics from the slate industry, army volunteers, education, and public health to geology, boats, and entertainment.There are genealogical records for the Kilbrandon and Kilchattan parish as well as rent books, Masonic records, and a map of Easdale Island circa 1881 on hard copy.

Ellister Lodge is a modern, elevated house with superb views over Loch Indaal. With comfortable, well-appointed accommodation and excellent facilities,
near Islay's pretty seaside village of Port Charlotte. 3 double/twin rooms each have their own shower/bathroom. A study/bedroom sleeps two, with its own cloakroom. Ellister Lodge has a large family kitchen/dining room with both electric and solid-fuel Esse cookers, a wood-burning stove, extensive decking, access ramps and parking for four cars.

Carradale Golf Club

Carradale Golf Club, founded in 1906, is regarded by many as one of the Golf Course gems in Scotland yet fairly unknown. Located on the east coast of the Kintyre peninsula with panoramic views across the Kilbrannan Sound towards the Isle of Arran. Although only a 9-hole course, it is a tricky course with small greens and natural hazards which can test even the experienced golfer.
