Campbell’s Baking Experience

Scotland’s Oldest Bakery, Campbell’s in Crieff, has opened its doors to offer a unique behind the scenes experience in a real working bakery. The craft and heritage of Scottish baking is taught by 7th generation, award-winning masterbaker, Iain Campbell as he leads a class through one of his family’s recipes of shortbread, oatcakes, Selkirk Bannock or Outlander bannocks. Afternoon tea and cake is served while the baking is in the oven.

Groups take away their very own handmade baking in travel-friendly packs to share with friends and family back home – if it’s not eaten first!

Visit our 17th Century hill sheep farm in Rob Roy country. Your clients can have lunch or dinner with us in MacGregor’s Barn (1604). We will play traditional music from our family with their meal. Or they can join us for morning coffee/afternoon tea with a sheepdog display. Bernera Museum & Bosta Iron Age House

This exact replica of one of the iron age houses found following a storm, was built and it is run by the local historical society. Here, our local guides tell your guests how the people from the late Scottish Iron Age lived in this unique village at Bosta on the small island of Great Bernera. With 20 years experience in the house, we explain the lessons learnt from our experimental archaeology and knowledge gained.

Piper’s Hut Apartment

Piper's Hut is a self contained apartment for 2 adults and within a 10 min walk from the centre of Portree. It would be an ideal for your clients to tour the island from while having a choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartment is finished to a very high standard with a double bed, two seater sofa, 40 inch Smart TV, bespoke kitchen with hob and microwave grill (no oven), power rain shower and seating area for dining. Basic starter pack of porridge, cereal, bread, milk and a Nescafe coffee machine are all in place for your customers. Two night minimum stay.
