1881 Distillery & Gin School
1881 Distillery is home to Scotland's largest residential Gin School. Located above the original Peebles Hydro swimming pool, guests can enjoy three-hour-long distillery experiences and extend the experience with an overnight stay in Peebles Hydro. Only 35 minutes from Edinburgh airport, this is a true Scottish Borders Experience. The London Spirits Competition awarded The 1881 Distillery gold for its subtly smoked Rafters Gin which was inspired by the hotel’s history and a fire it suffered in 1905.
