Explore Scotland’s largest railway museum, we’ll reserve a wonderfully restored carriage just for you, great discounts, free places for group leader and coach driver as well as a meal voucher for the driver in our Station Buffet. There is plenty of free parking and we can even offer Afternoon Tea on a steam train for a perfect touch of nostalgia (subject to availability). Also an Outlander location.

Greyfriars Kirk

Built on the site of a pre-Reformation Franciscan monastery, our iconic building offers much to see and appreciate, from reading the words of the National Covenant (signed here in the Kirkyard in 1638), right through to contemporary additions, such as our magnificent organ that dominates the sanctuary.
