Lost Loch Spirits

We are a small craft distillery in rural Aberdeenshire making gin, rum, whisky liqueurs and Scotland’s first absinthe. We use all natural botanicals in our spirits, sourcing locally where possible. We offer tours and tastings of the distillery as well as Spirits Schools where visitors can distil their own gin or rum, using traditional copper stills. Large car park with coach parking, café/restaurant next door. Tours suitable for 2 – 50 people, Spirits Schools 2 – 15 people, can be private.

Lynnfield Hotel & Restaurant

The Lynnfield Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall, next to Highland Park Distillery. The hotel has 20 bedrooms. 10 original antique furnished bedrooms and 10 new modern bedrooms with an ‘Orkney twist’ all having modern ensuites. A dog friendly hotel, complete with Archie, our own spring-a-doodle.
The restaurant looks over Kirkwall to the isles, and serves only local seafood and meats – including North Ronaldsay mutton. Our lounge is the perfect place for relaxing before and after dinner.

Rosebank Distillery

Rosebank Distillery is offers a world-class visitor experience. Take a guided tour of the working still house and see the unique whisky production techniques for which Rosebank is famed. Get ready for tutored tastings in the spectacular tasting rooms which can hold groups up to 42, unique private experiences in our Academy and Lounge, both with a capacity of 18. Coaches welcome.
