Bernera Museum & Bosta Iron Age House

Bernera Museum & Bosta Iron Age House

This exact replica of one of the iron age houses found following a storm, was built and it is run by the local historical society. Here, our local guides tell your guests how the people from the late Scottish Iron Age lived in this unique village at Bosta on the small island of Great Bernera. With 20 years experience in the house, we explain the lessons learnt from our experimental archaeology and knowledge gained.
Open mid May to end of September, check website for details and prices.
