Ogilvy Distillery

Ogilvy Distillery is Scotland’s first producer of Scottish potato vodka and Scotland’s only dedicated vodka distillery tour. Located in Angus, just 2 miles from Glamis Castle. Verdant Works Museum

Step back in time to discover Dundee's industrial past at Verdant Works Museum. In an 1833 jute mill, experience the history of the city's millworkers brought to life. The Albert Hotel

Located in the center of Orkney's ancient capital Kirkwall. Maximum group size 30 pax, min stay - 2 nights. Your guests will have the option of a full cooked Scottish breakfast and 2 or 3 course dinner options available. Coach may park at side of hotel for disembarkation, no overnight coach parking at hotel. All rooms are accessed by lift or stairs, no ground floor rooms.

About Orkney

I offer driver-guided tours for up to four in a Ford Galaxy and tours for larger groups in a hired coach. Tours can be one day or longer and are designed around the guests’ interests. Having grown up on a small farm beside our World Heritage Site, my tours offer an insight into Orkney’s ancient and more recent past. Any family connections with Orkney can be researched before the tour, which will then be planned around my findings.

I research Orkney’s history and our connections with the wider world and give talks at the Orkney International Science Festival. American guests can learn about Orkney’s part in the American Revolution and Canadians can hear about the Hudson’s Bay Company.

Prices £440 per day for up to four people, including any entrance fees but not lunch.

A few miles from Edinburgh you’ll find Restoration Yard Store and Restaurant, set in the perfect 1,000 acre Dalkeith Country Park for groups of 12-80. This stunning destination opened in 2016 following an £8.9million restoration project and is now the perfect stop for breakfast, tea and cake or a two course menu. Your guests can shop in The Store, an experience in itself, with a foodhall selling local Scottish produce, fashion, homewares and more or take a leg stretch on one of our waymarked walks.

Rockworks Chalets

Located in St. Marys village, Holm, these newly refurbished seafront properties boast wonderful views over Scapa Flow and to the Italian Chapel. There are 5 chalets available with a max group size of 16 pax. Minimum stay – 3 night. Please note no food served on the complex, however there are eateries a short drive away and a local shop in the village. Directly located on main bus route. Fisher’s Hotel Pitlochry

The current owner, Fionn MacCumhaill purchased the hotel in 2012, & has since been restoring the hotel back to its former glory, The hotel has 139 guest rooms, 2 restaurants: Castle & Ballroom, 2 bars: Coach House & Ballroom Bar and Coffee Lounge & Bar. We have a mix of singles, twins, doubles and upgraded rooms. The Restaurants have the traditional Scottish touch, the food menu has been designed with Scottish local produce. Fisher’s Hotel is in a great location for car, train or bus being right in the centre of Pitlochry and the heart of Scotland.

Scotlands Spa Hotel

Fionn MacCumhaill, the owner of the hotel purchased the hotel in January 2019. He has invested in the hotel to make a unique modern hotel with a touch of tradition. The hotel after the renovations will have 75 bedrooms this will be a mix of singles, doubles, twin/family rooms, 1 restaurants, 1 bar, 1 coffee lounge, Spa and leisure facilities with treatment rooms.
