The Tolbooth Tavern

The Tolbooth Tavern in Edinburgh is part of the original Canongate Tolbooth which was built in 1591. This medieval building was used to collect tolls from travellers entering the burgh at the Canongate.
The ground floor became The Tolbooth Tavern in 1820.
The Tolbooth Tavern is a cosy traditional Scottish pub full of character and charm. It boasts a fantastic spot along the Royal Mile where the small exterior gives way to a spacious bar and mezzanine dining area.

Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre

Montrose was the UK's first operational military air station dating from 1913 to 1952, but our story is not just about aircraft, we also show the human side. The museum has expanded in recent years becoming a highly rated visitor attraction on TripAdvisor and Google. A fully accredited museum run entirely by volunteers who pride themselves in being friendly and helpful. Group visits need to be booked in advance and a form can be downloaded from our website.

Highland Wildlife Park

Set in the stunning Cairngorms National Park, Highland Wildlife Park is the perfect day out for groups!
