The Forfar Witches Story – Guided Walk
Explore Forfar’s dark past and experience the shocking true story of the Forfar Witches. The Forfar Witch Trials took place between 1661-1663. 42 of the town’s inhabitants were imprisoned and tortured on suspicion of witchcraft, and 22 women were found guilty and executed.
Forfar is close to Dundee along the eastern route to the Angus Glens and Highlands in the North. The Forfar Witches Story guided walk is a one-of-a-kind experience, starting and ending in the historic Meffan Museum, where your clients can enjoy the exhibits and galleries featuring contemporary art exhibitions.
