Pocket House Studio

Starting in 2025 - Come and visit our ethical rug weaving studio and croft, try your hand at spinning, weaving and plant dyeing. Meet the rare and rescue sheep (including the three St Kilda breeds) that live here in a no-kill flock. We have a traditional Island croft where we grow our own foods as well as lots of natural dye plants. Our rugs are exported all over the world and are inspired by the beauty of the Hebrides. Come and sit at a traditional wooden loom and feel the threads that link us with the weavers that worked in our old weaving shed for generations. Share a Highland tea with us and let us share our island life.
