Montrose Museum
Montrose Museum, one of Scotland’s earliest purpose-built museums, is a unique experience for art lovers and those looking for an authentic heritage experience.
Four galleries display an array of historical artefacts featuring tales of the Jacobite uprisings, Napoleonic Wars and Scottish witch trials. Your clients can view artworks including a recently verified portrait by Allan Ramsay, a stunning landscape painting by Edward Baird and two beautifully preserved Pictish stones.
Suitable for Groups and FIT and ideally situated on the scenic coastal route midway between Dundee and Stonehaven. Guided tours are arranged to suit your clients’ needs.
