In this simple sandstone house in a quiet Dumfries street, Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet, spent the last years of his brilliant life. He died here in 1796 at the age of thirty-seven. The house gives us a picture of how the poet and his family lived in the late eighteenth century and is now a place of pilgrimage for Burns admirers the world over.
Your clients can see his desk and chair in his study, the famous Kilmarnock editions of his work and many original manuscripts & belongings of the poet.

Bespoke tours can be arrange in advance (depending on availability) to the Robert Burns Mausoleum on request. These can include a guided talk.
