The Lost Close

The Lost Close is one of Edinburgh’s most intriguing underground discoveries located behind St Giles’ Cathedral. Once Scotland’s first purpose-built bank vault in the 18th century and one of the few structures to survive the Great Fire of 1824. Today, this historic venue forms a subterranean space offering premium, storytelling led whisky and gin tasting experiences, blending heritage, character, and craftsmanship in an atmospheric setting.
