The National Wallace Monument

The National Wallace Monument

The National Wallace Monument is one of Scotland’s boldest architectural expressions of national pride. It was completed in 1869 as a memorial to William Wallace. There are three exhibition galleries inside which feature the legendary Wallace Sword, an animation film, and interactive displays. Visits are self-guided and information is provided in 8 different languages. At the top of the Monument is a panoramic viewing platform. Bespoke after-hours experiences for group and individual travellers can also be booked at the attraction.
