Moat Brae is Scotland's National Centre for Children's Literature and Storytelling and Birthplace of Peter Pan. The garden at Moat Brae was cited by none other than J.M. Barrie as the inspiration for his world famous play and novel Peter Pan Moat Brae hosts a regular programme of exciting events, tours and activities to inspire the imagination and encourage creativity. Moat Brae also boasts a fabulous free-to-access riverside bistro, book shop with literary gifts. We look forward to welcoming you to J.M. Barrie's Enchanted Land. Moat Brae is also available to hire, we cater for birthday parties commercial and community room hires and offer catering packages to suit any budget. We can accommodate coach visits by arrangements with parking immediately outside the building and can offer bespoke entertainment packages.
